About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Director to oversee our Park City Retreat Center/Clinic. This Clinical Director must be a Psychologist or Masters-level Therapist. This position directs all clinical services for clients and oversees program development and provision of mental health treatment services for mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in mental health communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the clinical authority of the facility and establishes clinical systems and standards of care
  • Conducts accurate and thorough assessments of client status, history, danger to self/others, progress, and related mental health information
  • Provides crisis interventions as needed
  • Provides individual and/or group therapy/counseling/rehabilitation on clinical issues and areas of need as determined by clinical assessment
  • Conducts and/or oversees retrospective reviews and evaluations of the quality of patient care through audit and review procedures
  • Responsible for program development and implementation utilizing evidence- based practices, therapeutic models, and interventions
  • Reviews and recommends changes in clinical services to meet client needs and oversight of program evaluation and quality assurance functions
  • Operates within budget and complies with the established performance and regulatory standards
  • Supervises and oversees implementation of treatment plans
  • Maintains current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements
  • Hires, trains, supervises, disciplines, and terminates mental health staff in accordance with company policies
  • Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Masters-level Therapist required
  • Masters/PhD degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, or social work
  • Previous clinical experience working in retreat setting desired
  • Leadership/Management experience required
  • Highly compassionate with excellent listening/communication skills a must
