About the Role

We are currently looking for a dependable and qualified full-time Experienced Bookkeeper to maintain accurate records and daily financial processes. Candidates should have experience and verifiable prior work history in field of bookkeeping and/or accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Entering new client’s and vendors info into QuickBooks
  • Generate monthly financial statements and reports in QuickBooks
  • Ensure that billing is organized and distributed on a timely schedule, coordinate incoming payments with project statements and document outstanding billing
  • Enter and maintain Accounts Payable invoices; reconcile bills with credit card statements and payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Assist with placing orders for clinic furniture, etc. and following up
  • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Enter payroll records
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reconciling monthly prepaids and inventory, plus clearing accounts
  • Ensures proper maintenance, filing and storage of records
  • Assist in ensuring proper recordkeeping for use in tax preparation and periodic audits
  • Will assist with developing guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger records
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • General understanding of accounting principles
  • Full cycle accounting operation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive and collaborative attitude
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Office
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Organizational, planning & time management skills
  • Excellent customer service, oral and verbal communication skills
