About the Role

We are currently looking for a full-time New Patient Services Representative (NPSR). As a (NPSR), you will be the first point of contact for patients and assist them in obtaining mental health care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality customer care through collecting new patient details, verifying insurance eligibility, confirming benefits, and scheduling appointments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and follow corresponding protocols
  • Inform patients and caregivers of clinic procedures, policies and protocols
  • Navigate and update patient charts on electronic system
  • Use phone functions properly including: transfers, holds, call backs and unintentional disconnects
  • Deliver detailed messages to appropriate personnel and offices
  • Maintain customer service standards in fast-paced environment
  • Collect patient demographics and input data into EMR
  • Schedule appointments for multiple office locations
  • Verify insurance and eligibility
  • Communicate effectively with multiple providers, offices, and team members
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should have work experience in one or more of the following areas: healthcare, office, reception
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills and desires to serve others willingly
  • Ability to learn & seeks feedback or direction from others
  • Is efficient in daily work activities and is mindful of work responsibilities and the impact on others
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to HIPAA policies
  • Strong attendance ethic
  • Compassionate and patient
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Offices and data entry systems
