Novamind provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and other novel treatments through its network of Cedar Psychiatry clinics and operates Cedar Clinical Research, a contract research organization specialized in clinical trials and evidence-based research for psychedelic medicine.

About the Role

Novamind is growing its marketing and communications team. As a Social Media Coordinator, your main responsibility is to execute on results-driven social media strategies. As a member of our team, you will work with creative marketing and communications professionals who are committed to improving the standard for mental health treatment and improving lives. This is a full-time position located in Utah or Toronto with remote accommodation available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and publish engaging and compliant social media content for Novamind’s social media channels
  • Work collaboratively with partners to create and manage social media content calendars
  • Maintain Novamind’s brand standards and brand voice across all social media channels
  • Manage and engage social media communities by responding to posts and developing discussions
  • Network with key influencers and suggest brand and independent partnerships on social channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to report trends, proactively triage and escalate inquiries or issues, ensure follow-up and close loop on solution completion with responsible team
  • Work with brand manager to analyze competitor activity and align content to overall brand identity
  • Work with  marketing team to establish visual identity for social channels
  • Assist with SEO blogging and other copy writing as needed
  • Contribute to regular scorecards for social media initiatives
  • Measure and report performance and user engagement on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications, or similar field, required
  • 2-5 years working experience in marketing, communications or related field
  • Proven experience creating content and managing social media platforms
  • Online community management and customer service skills
  • Solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and SEO
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience working with social media management tools for publishing and reporting
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience in healthcare industry is an asset
